This is one of the most important questions to ask! Having 2 coaches allow us to solve that problem with groupings of 4 based on ability and experience. With camps maxed out at 16 players, we can have 4 players per court, based on how they are playing and learning!

For beginners, we will provide paddles and balls. All that is required are good athletic shoes, preferably proper tennis shoes, large water bottle, a friendly attitude, and a willingness to learn and be active.

We design instruction based on age group and ability. Grades 3-5 will have shorter sessions that move quickly to retain attention and interest. EX) We may do several types of games catered to their development and learning styles. The week long camps are 3 hours. Advanced camps are 6 hours.

Heath Lucas is one of the highest rated player/coaches in the North East GA area. He has played in PPA pro qualifiers and won many local tournaments. Heath was a soccer star at Young Harris and cross trained using pickleball. He is a firm believer in technique and skill development through proper fundamentals, yet also having fun. He has coached many soccer and pickleball clinics and recently added "international coach" to his resume by teaching pickleball alongside Mark Price at the Mark Price Pickleball Camps in Germany. Mark Price is of the top instructors in the game, teaching and spreading pickleball literally throughout the world! Kadin Pilz currently plays for the TMU Bears Pickleball Team and has taught numerous camps and clinics including our Skills and Drills classes at Helen Indoor Pickleball. His friendly personality and intuitive teaching style allows him to get the best out of people. With a tennis background, Kadin is now full time pickleball and we are excited to have him on our coaching staff for our summer youth camps.

Lunch is not provided for the full or 1/2 day camps. All camps will have heathy snacks like fruit, nuts, etc. For full day camps, students need to bring a sack lunch.
