What is the DUPR Builder Program?

It is a series of structured, competitive play sessions specifically designed to provide you with the verifiable match results needed to:

​

Establish Your DUPR rating: If you are "Not Rated" (NR), these game sessions will quickly get you your first official DUPR rating.

​

Increase Your Reliability:  DUPR becomes more accurate with more matches. Our program ensures you log enough results to increase your Reliability Score, giving you a more stable and trusted rating. 

​

Boost Your Rating: Play competitive, leveled matches that give you the best opportunity to test your skills and see your DUPR climb.

​

Cost: $24, about 1/2 the cost of a tournament with less games.

• Club Exclusivity: As an official DUPR club, we take care of all the score verification and submission, guaranteeing your match results are accurate and processed before you get to your car!

• Community Connection: Connect with other players who are serious about improvement. Who knows, you may find your next tournament doubles partner! 



How it Works: 

• Every other week is either a ladies or a mens event, with divisions for junior girls and boys participating in similar age groups if we have enough registrants, or joining with adults if not. 

​

• You will play 7 round robin games to 11, win by 1, with rotating partners within a similar DUPR range. This will take just under 90 minutes. After 3 games, we reserve the right to "re-seed" the matches to continue to challenge all players. The event is broken into two sections, 11-12:30, and 12:30-2pm. Ideally, we have 8 participants in each division to yield 7 games. Ex) 2.75-3.24 would have 8 people, and 3.25-3.74 would have 8 people. If after 3 rounds, someone in the 2.75 group is winning all 3 games, and someone is struggling in the other group, we reserve the right to re-seed to make everyone more successful.

• To maintain fairness and DUPR accuracy,  we will run gender specific events and matches. We will offer a mixed DUPR builder once per quarter, as well as a fixed partner DUPR builder.

​

• Matches will be stacked by level and DUPR. Non rated players will start by playing each other and moving up as you win. We will keep cumulative wins/losses so that you can see your results. 

​

• Match Submission: All scores are managed and submitted by Helen Indoor Pickleball on the same day to ensure maximum DUPR reliability.



DUPR BUILDER DIVISIONS:

• 2.0-2.75 (for NR players and DUPR ratings under 2.75)

• 2.75-3.24 

• 3.25-3.74

• 3.75-4.24

• 4.25+

Who Should Join:

• Unrated players (NR) who are taking pickleball seriously and want to enter tournaments or simply just to see how you stack up to others. Get your essential first DUPR rating at our event. ​

• All Rated Players: Increase your match count and reliability, and push your rating higher, for 1/2 the cost of a tournament. 

 ​

Cancellation Policy:

 

NON-REFUNDABLE WITHIN 24 HOURS. WE WILL APPLY CLUB CREDIT TOWARDS FUTURE REGISTRATIONS, LEAGUES, OR TOURNAMENTS IF CANCELLED MORE THAN 24 HOURS OUT.
